Depression impacts how you feel, think, and behave, and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. Individuals with depression often struggle with day-to-day problems.

Depression can affect all people of all ages but it often first appears in adolescence or early adulthood. Depression is twice as high for women as it is for men. Many people with depression may feel that their life is not worth living.

There is no shame in these feelings, and you will rarely snap out of it. Seek care. Professional care including psychotherapy and medications can help treat your depression.
